Camera Angles for the recreation of 'The Devil Inside'

This camera angle is a birds eye view of our two actresses, myself and Charlie. This camera shows myself sitting on a chair on the left and Charlie sitting on a chair on the right, this show establishes the setting of the scene. This four second clip doesn't have any dialogue or movement, this sets the atmosphere for the scene. It only shows my facial expression as we only see the back of Charlie.

This next camera angle is a side close up of Charlie's face. In the three second clip Charlie says the first line of the script "Maria, I'm your daughter", this establishes the audience characters accent and shows that she is American, it also gives them some background information that they are mother and daughter. Charlie's facial expression is fairly neutral throughout, creating tension, as the audience is unsure of how she is feeling.

The next camera angle is a close up of my facial expression, this is a creepy smile, showing the audience that my character isn't sane and that she may have something wrong with her. I then whisper "Connect the cuts" repeatedly. This creates a spooky atmosphere for the audience.

This next camera angle is an over the shoulder shot, showing my facial expressions and not Charlie's. They are on the edge of the screen, showing the setting as well as the characters. I then say "Connect the cuts" repeatedly, showing to the audience that she may have been possessed and furthering the point that she has something wrong with her.

The next camera angle is a close up of Charlie's face which is closer then the one before. This shows her facial expression as to what I have just said to her. It shows the audience that she doesn't know what kind of a state her mother is in until now, giving a confused feel to the audience. The fact that she doesn't say anything shows to the audience her confusion and shock.

The next camera angle is a close up of my face while I says "Do you know how to connect the cuts". It shows my facial expression to the audience and that I'm  mentally ill, due to the various cuts and the spookiness of my body language. The next camera angle is a close up that zooms onto my arm to show the red cuts. The camera follows down my arm to show the audience would a zoomed in version of what I wanted them to see.

The next camera angle follows my hand as I raises it to my face. The next camera angle is a close up of my face and fingers. My lip is shown, as in the original video; however, it was too dangerous to draw on a cross, this shows my insanity. The close up shows the audience a clearer view of what my expression to create tension.

The next camera angle is a close up of Charlie's worried facial expression while she says to me  "Did you do this to yourself?" The camera angle adds to the tension of scene because it shows how scared and worried she is for her mum because of what is happening to her and what she has become.

This next camera angle is an over the shoulder view, looking at me as she signals to Charlie to come here. I do a scary facial expression as she signals before moving on her chair to get very close to Charlie's face and invading her personal space. There is no dialogue in this part which builds tension because everything is very quiet and eerie.

This next camera angle is a two shot, showing more of myself and then Charlie. I then says "It's against God's will you know?" and then smile creepily at Charlie. The camera then follows me as Charlie exits due to my screaming in her face and then I start to throw my arms and scream. This is the end of the scene.
